Mr. Mohammad Jobayed Hosen joined Bangladesh Assistant High Commission, Agartala as Assistant High Commissioner on 22 October 2020. A career diplomat, Mr Hosen Served in two other Bangladesh Missions abroad before joining in Agartala. He also had served in different desks in the Headquarters.

Mr. Hosen served in Bangladesh Embassy in Abu Dhabi, UAE as First Secretary and Counsellor from 2018 to 2020. Before, he had served as Third Secretary, Second Secretary and First Secretary in Bangladesh Embassy in Tokyo, Japan from 2015 to 2018. Mr. Hosen served in South East Asia, South Asia and Foreign Secretary's Office in the Headquarters from 2011 to 2015. He joined Bangladesh Civil Service (Foreign Affairs) in 2011. Mr.Hosen worked in private sector(Manufacturing and Financial sectors) for short stints before joining the Civil Service. He also had exposure to micro credit policy formulation and management.

Mr. Hosen holds an MBA with Marketing major from Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka. He also received MA in Applied Linguistics and ELT and BA (Hons) in English Language and Literature from the Department of English, University of Dhaka.

Mr. Hosen attended Dhaka College for Higher Secondary education.

He is married and blessed with a daughter.
